Early Access to 2028 River Cruises — Save Up to 50% Off

If river cruising has been on your list, this is the moment to stop thinking about it and start planning.

Just-released 2028 sailings are now open for early booking — and the savings are real. We are talking up to 50% off on itineraries that book up fast and rarely go on sale once the early-access window closes.

Why River Cruising?

I get asked about river cruises all the time, and my answer is always the same: they are one of the most effortless ways to see a region deeply. You unpack once, wake up in a new destination every morning, and step directly off the ship into the heart of a town — no tender boats, no long bus transfers, no crowds fighting for the same taxi.

The ships are small by design, which means a more intimate experience, genuinely attentive service, and access to ports that larger ocean ships simply cannot reach. The Rhine, the Danube, the Douro, the Mekong — each one is a completely different world.

Why Book Now for 2028?

A few reasons this early-access window matters:

The best cabins go first. River ships are small — typically 100 to 200 passengers — and the most desirable staterooms (upper deck, full balcony, larger square footage) are claimed by early bookers. By the time a sailing is 12 months out, the inventory that remains is whatever no one else wanted.

Early pricing is the best pricing. River cruise lines use dynamic pricing, and fares move up as sailings fill. The 50% savings available right now on select 2028 departures will not be there in six months.

2028 is not as far away as it sounds. Popular summer and fall European departures — the Rhine in autumn, the Danube at Christmas market season — sell out more than a year in advance. If you have a specific window in mind, waiting is a real risk.

What Is Available

The early-access release covers a wide range of itineraries and departure dates for 2028. Whether you are thinking about a classic European river journey, something more exotic, or a holiday sailing, there are options worth exploring right now.

Let's Find the Right One for You

River cruising is one of my favorite things to help clients plan — the itinerary options, the cabin categories, the add-on land programs, the right line for your travel style. There is a lot to navigate, and getting it right makes a significant difference in the experience.

If you see something that catches your eye, or you just want to talk through what a river cruise could look like for you, I would love to help. Early access windows like this one are exactly when it pays to have someone in your corner.
